At the end of October, we went on a trip to the Shedd Aquarium with some friends. James was in heaven the entire trip. He packed as many of his toy animals as I would allow. His goal when he travels to zoos and aquariums is to visit each exhibit and show the animal in the exhibit an example of itself in toy form. I'm positive the animals love this (they're smiling on the inside). The animals James packed included: dolphins, beluga whales, penguins, and sea lions. Note that James doesn't bother packing any fish. Actually, he doesn't collect fish toys. He likes the bigger animals of the sea—oh, and penguins.

This is one of the beluga whales we saw.
At the penguin exhibit, there is a play area where the kids can dress up as penguins and go down slides and climb through a cave.
We also saw a 4-D movie at the aquarium. The fourth "D" involves water and air being shot in your face, along with your chair vibrating and punching you in your back. The fourth "D" terrified the children, but they were happy before the movie started.
